FOR UNIVERSITY ENTRYProgress is tracked all through the session, not just at exam time. Each term combines continuous assessment — class tests, assignments, projects and practicals — with an end-of-term examination.
Parents receive a report card at the end of every term showing results, class performance and teachers’ comments, and are welcome to discuss progress with form teachers.
Tests, assignments, projects and practical work across the term count towards each learner’s final result — rewarding steady effort.
Written examinations at the close of each term measure understanding of the term’s work and prepare students for the format of external exams.
Termly report cards keep parents informed. Promotion to the next class is based on performance across the full session.
JSS 3 and SSS 3 students sit practice examinations ahead of BECE, WASSCE and NECO so they walk into the exam hall confident.
Like schools across Nigeria, our academic session runs in three terms, each with a mid-term break. Exact dates are announced by the school each term.
